Where are MY servant girls?!

I was reading Proverbs 31 last night (also known as the chapter in the Bible few women can ever possibly live up too) when something jumped out at me.

"She gets up before dawn to prepare breakfast for her household and plan the day's work for her servant girls." (v.15)

You know, I could be a pretty rockin' wife and mother if I had servant girls! Where do I sign up?!

Now, a silly song... paraphrased...

Stop, stop, stop!

Everyone does NOT have servant girls.

We're going to get nasty letters from people saying,

"Where's MY servant girl?!"

"Why don't *I* have a servant girl?!"

And are you prepared to deal with that???!!!

I DON'T THINK SO!!!

Just STOP. Being. SO. SILLY!!!!!!

Caleb Enoch died at 17 weeks gestation to an exceedingly rare second trimester cord accident.

He was born on January 8, 2010, 5:18pm at 17 weeks and 4 days.

Caleb weighed 4.9 ounces and was 8.6 inches long.

The cord was wrapped tightly around his neck twice, his belly once, and swelling of his left thigh tells us his leg was caught up in it as well.

Caleb's time of birth is a sweet sweet gift from the Lord - 5.18 is the date of our wedding anniversary. In military time this is 1718 - Caleb spent 17 weeks living, growing, and playing inside of me and we spent 18 precious hours loving on him after he was born.

Caleb is survived by his parents, 5 living siblings, his maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Caleb is preceeded in death by 7 tiny siblings, his paternal grandparents, and an uncle who died at the same gestation.
