10. My crockpot. Oh how I love my crockpot! Especially during this stage of pregnancy when I am both so very tired and often find food to be less appealing. It's far more appealing when it cooks itself! LOL!
9. SoBe. I. Love. Sobe!!!
8. The rec room in our basement -couch, TV... just the perfect place for a pregnant mama to hang out!
7. The rec room in our basement - there is a door at the top of the stairs which means we can toss the kids downstairs and have some peace and quiet upstairs!
6. Petite length maternity jeans.
5. My friend Gill!
4. My friend Christina!
3. My laptop!
2. Sea Bands!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thankful Thursday...
It's that time of the week again, and for once I am on time. WHOO HOO!!! Counting my blessings, naming them one by one... well, 10 of them anyway.
10. Good friends who let you come do your laundry at their house while you wait for Sears to deliver your new washer and dryer.
9. FedEx delivering my new shipment of Charlie's Soap (laundry powder). So glad to not have to use detergent!
8. I no longer use a diaper pail.
7. A husband who, when he fails, humbles himself and picks himself up, dusts himself off, and works harder to be the man His Creator designed him to be.
6. My new kitchen. I really really love my knew kitchen.
5. Sarah's sand box. I got it for free (*cough*pulled it out of the trash at the dump and cleaned it real good*cough*) and today I put the sand in it and we spent some time playing outside before nap and picking the biggest brothers up from school.
4. Really good dental health insurance. Josh had some work done yesterday and he has 2 or 3 more appointments. It will cost us a fraction of what it would have with our old insurance.
3. Strawberry Daquiri SoBe. I will be so sad when they discontinue this! Wonder if I can drink enough to keep it in production?!
2. My kitchen aid mixer and flour mill.
1. My gracious God who's mercies are new EVERY morning. How GREAT is His faithfulness to me!

Thankful Thursday...
10. I am DONE at the old house. Ok, well I have a pile of dirt by the front door I need to sweep up, I still need to vaccum the laundry room (my vaccum cleaner belt broke while I was doing the room before it, ugh!), and I need to get my friend to come over with her camera and take pictures of the house as we left it because the landlords are kind of being unreasonable butts about the whole thing.
9. Elijah finished all of his school work today AND still had plenty of time for fun! This is HUGE. Unfortunately I think they are both going to have to go back on their medication, but even without medication I am getting a ton more work out of him than the public school system was.
8. I can't remember the last time Sarah pooped anywhere other than the toilet. GO SARAH HAZEL-NUT!!!
7. My husband is loving and faithful even when I am not the wife I should be and even when he doesn't do it the way I want him too.
6. My boys did and AWESOME job of cleaning their room today! I hope they maintain it!
5. I had fun at the laundra mat. I provided me an oppurtunity to work on Emelia's woefully lacking folding skills.
4. At the laundra mat Elijah said, "There's nothing in the world quite like folding laundry with mom!" Awww...
3. My laptop has a new keyboard and works like new! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
2. I have good insurance and can go to the doctor in the morning to seek relief for the horrible eczema outbreak that has surrounded my eyes like a racoon mask and is horribly miserably uncomfortable!
1. God has opened the doors for me to be able to serve and bless 2 other families at church in two totally seperate and unique ways and I am so humbled and blessed by it!

5. Despite not being able to organize our homeschool stuff and not doing school every day things are going very smoothly.
4. Strawberry Daquiri SoBe. Oh wait, I said that already didn't I? Ok... how about my iPhone?!
3. I husband who loves me for me even with all my rough and ugly edges.

Thankful Thursday... better late than never!
10. Back to School shopping is done! I've bought the yearly sock and underware stash and Josh and Luke's backpacks are bought and filled. I'm not eager for them to go back, but I'm thankful the stuff is bought and done.
9. We are moving. Did I mention that? I am sooo thankful that we will have a bigger house. I love the location of this house but it is TOO SMALL. And it's super old and falling apart.
8. Super Hubbie brought home cherry italian ice's.
7. It's raining and I don't have to go anywhere which means I get to enjoy it!
6. Homeschooling. I am really enjoying it and I know I will enjoy it more when the year officially starts.
5. Fully stocked kitchen means I've been doing some great cooking! Tonight is simple comfort food - meatloaf and mashed potatoes.
4. Tomorrow I am making my famous salad and heading out for a girls day. I may never come home. ROTFLOL!
3. I got to go to Target today. All by myself!
2. AWANA is starting again soon!
1. The lawn is mowed and the holes in our plaster walls are patched.

Thankful Thursday...
Eh, why not? Maybe I'll actually get back into the swing of it.
10. Moving. Yeesh is packing up a household of 7 daunting and overwhelming! But this time next month I will have central heat and air, 2 fire places, a basement, and TONS more room. I'll even have walls that I can put things on. The only problem is I don't know where we are moving to.
Both choices have pros and cons. The first choice is a more stable choice as we would be able to buy the house, but it would require sacrifice from some members of our family because of the location. Option 2 would be yet another temprorary move. I've moved 9 times in the last 6 years, 14 times since I got pregnant with Emelia. The thought of having to make another temporary move is really upsetting and overwhelming to me. My parents have lived in exactly 3 houses in the last 30 years and I am craving that kind of stability. And, it's really hard to make a house into a HOME when you know you aren't staying indefinately.
9. Super Hubbie is finally getting on board with some of the parenting crap that is neccesary around here, but has been left by the wayside. I am overwhelmingly thankful for this.
8. Homeschooling! We've started already and it's giving me a good idea of where they are, what their learning styles are, and where we need to go. It's also giving us a head start so I can impliment some other things throughout the year (like their AWANAs work) and take breaks as needed/desired.
7. Sesame Street, Blues Clues, and Yo Gabba Gabba which occupy my toddler so I can get things done.
6. This mild summer. I hope it is a set up for a mild winter, but I'm not holding my breath!
5. Vanilla Dr. Pepper. Who knew that would be so yummy???!!! Thanks Joshua and Luke!!!
4. Boxes - I saved all the boxes when we moved here so I don't have to run around trying to find boxes! Although I will probably still need to get more.
3. Freecycle - unloaders of the world, unite!
2. Midweek church services.
1. Bible curriculumn and listening to my kids read their Bible text out loud.

Thankful Thursday... late again!
Life with 2 seperate school schedules, 4 different Little League schedules, AND a busy toddler means I don't get to sit here long enough to put my thoughts out. Infact, I just had to barricade Sarah into the living room with the couch! Here goes anyway...
10. Spring. Glorious beautiful sunshiny lush green spring!
9. Watching my kids enjoy baseball and softball.
8. Sarah's emerging vocabulary. I've lost track of how many words she has. She can mimic almost everything we say. She trys to count, and.... drum roll please... we've started potty training! No successes yet, but she loves her panties and she loves sitting on the potty. She knows and is aware of what she needs to know, now she just needs to put it all together.
7. Support from Elijah's teachers and principals in some issues we are having with him.
6. Support from our Pastor with those same issues.
5. House hunting. With all the doubts and frustrations that come wiht it.
4. Good health insurance.
3. Music!!!!!!!!!!!
2. My precious husband... counting down the days to our wedding anniversary!
1. Grace, mercy, and second chances.

Thankful Thursday... two days late!
I reeeeally have things I should be doing. Especially since it's 10:30 at night, I have to leave the house at 7:30 in the morning to Northern VA to attend my nephew's baby dedication and THEN my entire family is coming back here. So, yeah... I should be cleaning. But I hate that I missed my Thankful Thursday this week so here it is... better late than never!
10) Tax returns
9) Searching for houses on the internet and easily weeding out the duds without wasting time.
8) NCIS. I've loved this show for a long time but now the hub finally likes it too. Yeah for me!
7) Sunshine.
6) A.C. working in my van. I might not have heat, but I do have A.C.
5) Real friends.
4) Dates with the Super Hubbie.
3) Being married to the Super Hubbie.
2) Being home raising my kids.
1) Winter is OVER!

Thankful Thursday
10. Being a stay at home mom. I have many MANY reasons for which I am thankful for this, especially since I believe that spiritually it's an obedience thing, but right now it's a bit specific. Sarah is getting molars. Plural. She is also going through seperation anxiety. I. Am. Exhausted!!!
9. Naps. 'Nough said!
8. My friend Gillian's husband, Brian. He resurrected my near dead van. It was on the verge of dying and now it's running smoothly again. He did a full tune up and found it was running on 2 of 6 cylinders. He said it was only by the grace of God that it was still running. He also replaced the radiator and when he took out the old one the hose to the transmition fluid ruptured flooding his garage with transmition oi.. If that hose had ruptured at home or while I was driving we'd never have been able to tell and would have killed the transmition. God is so good!
7. My van. It's 12 years old. The transmition on these vans usually max out at 80k miles... I'm well over 200k! It's the van that wont die! LOL... And it's paid for. (Although it really does need to be replaced... but for now we need it and I am thankful for it!)
6. Girl Scout Cookies!!!!!! Mmmmm!!!!
5. Wednesday night church. I think I shared this one last week but it's still true. The teaching is really meaty which I LOVE. It's also expository teaching which is my FAVORITE!
4. My baby brother is back from his deployment and will be home on leave soon!!! We haven't seen him since August!
3. My other baby brother is moving from Camp Lejuene to Norfolk for the next stage of his training. And apparently when he's done with that he'll be stationed in the DC area! Whoot!!!
2. YMCA membership. So far I've only taken the kids swimming (indoor pool) and haven't utelized the rest of the Y yet. There is a cardio pool exercise class 3 mornings a week that I think I might try. It's just a matter of deciding how I feel about leaving Sarah in the child care provided at the Y. We'll be pretty much be living there this summer seeing as how we don't have air conditioning and they do... and a pool... and a Wii... and DDR... and an air hockey table... and a ping pong table... among other things!
1. Breakfast dates with my Super Hubbie!!! There's nothing better!!!

My confession is I am forcing myself to do this right now. I have a killer headache and accidentally took my contacts out before finding my glasses so I can't see. I want to just shut this machine down and go to bed. instead...

Thankful Thursday...
10. I have an appointment with an endodontist tomorrow to decide if my 3 severely decayed bottom molars are salvageable. If they are I will be scheduling an appointment for 3 root canals before going back to my dentist for build ups and crowns.
9. Next Wednesday I am FINALLY getting all the teeth that can't be salvaged pulled. I can not wait!!! Sweet relief cometh!
8. We got snowed in without power on Monday and were rescued, along with another family by friends, we had a wonderful day with these families.
7. My husband did NOT have a stroke. He has been having intermittant numbness one one side of his face and down his left arm. It *could* be TIA's but not likely with the frequency with which they are happening. The doctors have no idea what it is, what is causing it, or how long he will have to live with it. BUT, because of his health risk including family history he was briefly admitted for testing, all of which came back looking really good. MRI was clear, no blockage in the arteries in his neck, heart looks good. He needs to lose weight and get his diabetes and hypertension undercontrol but otherwise it all looked good.
6. Because of number 7 my husband has been forced off work which means we've been seeing quite a bit of him. WHOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I lubs my husband!!!
5. My grandmothers mistake. She disowned the family and left instructions that we weren't to be contacted upon her death, but then accidentally left several savings bonds, etc to my mom. This money is being used to fix my teeth. Again.. WHOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
4. We have really good dental insurance!
3. 6 inches of snow closing school for 3 days. WHOOOOO HOOOO HOOOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Friends with whom you can be so real that when you confront them about their sin they don't turn on you and cut you out of their life.
1. God's grace, mercy, and second chances - my imperfect yet perfectly wonderful marriage.

Thankful Thursday...
10. Ibuprofen. I have an absessed tooth (read swollen and infected jaw) and can't get in to see my dentist until next week.
9. My phone which allows me to keep track of Facebook even when life gets so "lifey" that I can't keep up with much else online.
8. Sarah's emerging sense of humor.
7. Luke's somewhat improved attitude and approach to life. There may be hope for him yet!
6. Elijah's psychiatrist who will hopefully help us to help him.
5. Emelia's sweet and tender heart. And the fact that she has her own room, a place we can send her when she's too hormonal to cohabitate with the rest of us.
4. Joshua's ability to take correction and apply it to his life.
3. My Super Hubbie who taught/is teaching me how to cook.
2. My new coffe cup - it's cute and it's BIG!
1. Tomorrow is pay day! LOL

6. My full quiver - I hope God adds to it soon!
5. Josiah will be getting back on his ship and heading back to the states soon!
4. Did I mention Fruit by the Foot? I really really like stuff like that. Gushers too, but I don't have any of those.
3. Steaming hot baths.
2. Solitaire.
1. Isaiah Seth Wilson - such a short life, but it made such a huge impact on mine.
9. My Todd Agnew CD.
8. Facebook.
I'm sorry myspace, it's not you... it's me.
Ok, maybe it's you a little bit.

Thankful Thursday...
10. Decaf White Mocha from Starbucks. Mmmm...
9. The effects of motrin on a miserable teething baby.
8. Gel pens that write smoothly and have nice thick bold colors.
7. My internet friend Bethany. I want to hang out with her soooo bad.
6. Finally finding Fireproof at the Red Box by us.
5. Making a trip to Costco alone. Blissfully and utterly alone.
4. Elijah's teachers who are patient, gracious, and understanding.
3. The gigantic box of Dr. Pepper I bought at Costco today.
2. I only had to drive the boys to school once this week.
1. Going to Costco alone meant I could pop a worship CD into my CD player and crank it up, having my own personal worship time with my Heavenly Father without anyone interupting me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thankful Thursday....
10... Snow days times deux! Followed by a delayed opening and no school on Friday!
9... Winter weather which forces us to slow down and rest.
8.... The beautiful beautiful sun which is shining this morning in all it's glory!
7... My washing machine and dryer, although they aren't fancy and my dryer tends to shrink things (badly) I am so thankful to be able to do laundry at HOME.
6... Dried mangoes... M'mmmm!!!
5... Hot ham and cheese sandwiches with tomato soup on a cold blustery day.
4... My precious husband who actually enjoys talking with me and spending time with me.
3... A God who speaks to me through memorized scripture and hymns in the still small hours of the early early morning.
2... My cell phone which keeps me connected to my Super Hubbie even when he is at work.
1... Not having to worry about the economy, because I know where my hope and security lie!

Thankful Thursday...
10. My 10 year old daughter, Emelia. During my illness when I was so sick that I could barely get myself to the bathroom to pee she waited on me hand and foot. She brought me drinks, she changed diapers, she chased down Sarah... and not once did she ever complain, grumble, roll her eyes. She has had an immediate cheerful, giving response. I am so thankful for her servant's heart.
9. Kaiser. As much of a pain in the butt as they can be, I really am thankful for them. If we had any other insurance I'd have been hospitalized. Kaiser was able to treat me outpatient and I didn't have to be seperated from my babies.
8. Timing... Gene only missed one day of work due to my illness. While I feel like I didn't really see him at all during his time off, he was there for me and took over the house and kids. What a guy!
7. Friends who love me.
6. My walking babbling baby who asks to nurse please in sign language in the cutest of ways.
5. Esther - the mom of my children's classmates who has graciously transported my kiddos to and from school this week.
4. My new doctor and new doctor's office. Close, and I really like her. I feel like I can really address some of the other health issues I've ignored for years because I couldn't get a doctor to listen to me.
3. My couch. It's ugly as sin and actually I hate it but it has served me well these past few days.
2. A&W Rootbeer Freeze.... Mmmmm!!!
1. I have a God who know's my name, sees my need, and meets every one!
